In 1919, children in Austria and Eastern Europe were dying of hunger.  As a result of their difficulties, Eglantyne Jebb started the organization Save the Children Fund.  Her first effort was to supply food to starving children in Austria.  She was driven by a core belief that all children have the right to a healthy, happy and fulfilling life.

Today, they work in Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and the United States, bringing aid to children wherever they are in need.
